UNIVERSAL AVOMETER Model 8 Mk II

Before we had digital multimeters, the AVO meter was the Rolls Royce of measuring instruments. They are now quite sought after

The battery terminals, often a source of problems are clean and the movement is completely free. Tests on a couple of batteries suggest that it is still very accurate.

TELEQUIPMENT D54 OSCILLOSCOPE

A piece of G3WGV history, I bought this lovely little oscilloscope when I was about 19 years old. I think it cost me about 2 months' wages! Fully solid state apart from the tube, it was one of the first of the Telequipment 'scopes built after the company was taken over by Tektronix.

Dual trace, 10MHz bandwidth, timebase up to 200ns, this 'scope is certainly not a modern specification. Nonetheless, it is a perfectly serviceable piece of test kit and, apart from a couple of small chunks carelessly knocked off the graticule it's in amazing condition for a 47 year old piece of kit. It's been sitting in my loft for 20+ years. Someone really ought to have it if they can use it.

Make me an offer. Maybe free to a deserving cause.

PICOSCOPE ADC212/100 OSCILLOSCOPE

Picoscope makes digital oscilloscopes that work with your PC. This particular model is dual channel, 100MHz bandwidth and dates back to 2001. Picoscopes are highly regarded and ridiculously expensive!

The PC interface is a standard printer parallel port. These are getting rather less common these days but various reports suggest that the StarTech EC1PECPS parallel adapter works and there is still full documentation on the PicoScope web site.
